Chris and Ciara’s wedding at the breathtaking Osbornia Farm in southern Lancaster County was one such occasion—an enchanting November day filled with warmth, joy, and love. Nestled along a small, serene creek, Osbornia Farm provided the ideal backdrop for Chris and Ciara’s nuptials. The venue boasts a charming bridge and rustic barn, exuding a warm, countryside charm. The early November weather was unseasonably perfect: sunny and comfortably warm, making it an idyllic setting for an outdoor celebration.  

The bridal party prepared for the big day inside the barn. The groomsmen gathered in the lower level, sharing laughs and camaraderie while suiting up. Meanwhile, the bridesmaids helped Ciara into her stunning gown upstairs. The barn buzzed with anticipation as final touches were made to the décor and the ceremony space.

A Private First Look and Heartfelt Vows

One of the day’s most touching moments came during Chris and Ciara’s first look. Meeting privately outside amidst the golden autumn light, they shared a quiet, emotional moment that set the tone for the day.  

Following this, the couple chose to read their vows in private on the expansive lawn. It was a beautiful decision, allowing them to speak from the heart without distractions—a raw and personal exchange that reflected the depth of their love.

Capturing Timeless Memories

After the vows, the bridal party joined the couple for photographs around the property. Osbornia Farm’s natural beauty, with its tranquil creek, picturesque bridge, and rustic architecture, served as the perfect canvas for these timeless shots.  

Meanwhile, guests began to arrive, greeted by cozy blankets to keep warm as they settled into their seats for the ceremony. The atmosphere was a mix of excitement and tranquility, as friends and family gathered to witness Chris and Ciara’s union.

The ceremony was a blend of tradition and personal touches, beginning with Ciara’s father walking her down the aisle. The highlight was the couple’s “cord of three strands” unity ceremony, a meaningful act symbolizing their commitment to God and each other.  

Surrounded by loved ones, Chris and Ciara exchanged vows under the soft November sun. The love in the air was palpable, creating a moment that none in attendance will soon forget.

Cocktails, Games, and Warm Company

Following the ceremony, guests moved to the patio on the barn’s lower level to enjoy a relaxed cocktail hour. Custom drinks flowed from the open bar, appetizers were savored, and guests mingled in the crisp autumn air.  

To keep the fun going, a custom crossword puzzle stood on a large board, challenging guests to solve clues related to the couple. Cornhole games added a playful touch, and laughter echoed across the patio.

Dinner, Dancing, and Emotional Tributes

The celebration then transitioned upstairs to the main room of the barn. With rustic wooden beams and romantic lighting, the space radiated warmth and intimacy.  

Chris and Ciara made a grand entrance with their bridal party, followed by their first dance—a magical moment that drew cheers and applause. Dancing with their parents added an emotional layer, reflecting the love and support surrounding them.

Dinner was a feast of delicious dishes, and the toasts that followed brought both tears and laughter. The best man and two maids of honor gave heartfelt speeches, each sharing touching anecdotes that highlighted Chris and Ciara’s love story.  

Desserts and Dancing Under the Stars

Dessert was a sweet affair with a table spread of cupcakes and treats that delighted every guest. As the evening wore on and temperatures dipped, the dance floor became the heart of the celebration. Guests of all ages crowded together, dancing and celebrating the night away.

There are few places more breathtaking than the Drumore Estate, perched in the hills above the Susquehanna River in Pequea, Pennsylvania. It’s a venue that perfectly blends timeless elegance with the charm of Lancaster County, and it served as the stunning backdrop for Katie and Collin’s unforgettable wedding day. Late October brought unseasonably warm weather and clear blue skies, making the day even more magical. As their videographers, we were honored to capture every moment of their special day, from the first look to their last dance.  

A Storybook Setting for a Love Story

Drumore Estate is a dream venue, with its stately mansion, lush gardens, and surrounding farmland. The bridal party and groomsmen prepared for the day in the mansion’s beautifully appointed rooms, creating a sense of classic elegance from the start.  

Katie and Collin chose to see each other before the ceremony in a heartfelt first look outside the mansion. With the stunning estate as their backdrop, this private moment set the tone for a day filled with love and joy. Following the first look, the couple read their private vows to each other, an intimate exchange that captured the depth of their connection.  

A Garden Ceremony to Remember

The ceremony took place in the estate’s immaculate garden, framed by a fountain and vibrant autumnal blooms. Live music performed by family members created an atmosphere of warmth and sentimentality as guests took their seats.  

Katie and Collin exchanged vows surrounded by family, friends, and the beauty of nature. The setting sun bathed the garden in a golden glow, making for a truly picturesque ceremony that embodied the couple’s love and commitment.  

Cocktails, Star Wars, and Stunning Views

After the ceremony, guests gathered on the terrace for cocktails and conversation. The open bar offered a creative twist with custom Star Wars-themed drinks, named after Katie and Collin’s beloved cats—a personal touch that delighted guests.  

The terrace provided sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, a perfect setting for mingling and soaking in the autumn evening. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the soft lighting of the estate added to the romantic ambiance.

A Reception Filled with Love and Laughter

As twilight gave way to evening, the celebration moved inside the pool house for the reception. Katie and Collin, along with their bridal party, made a grand entrance that kicked off the evening’s festivities.  

Dinner was served, followed by the couple’s enchanting first dance. Dances with parents brought tears and smiles, highlighting the deep family bonds that were a cornerstone of the day.  

The toasts were another highlight. The maid of honor and best man delivered heartfelt speeches, sharing personal anecdotes that had the room laughing and reminiscing. The father of the bride’s emotional speech was a beautiful tribute to his daughter and her new husband.

Dancing, Desserts, and Delightful Surprises

The dance floor came alive thanks to Perfect Harmony Entertainment, with guests of all ages celebrating and creating unforgettable memories. The energy was infectious, and the pool house echoed with music and laughter late into the evening.  

Katie and Collin treated their guests to an array of desserts, including an ice cream cart from Penny’s Ice Cream. It was a hit, adding a playful and delicious element to the night. Renee Hunter of Bella Manse provided a stunning cake and desserts that perfectly complemented the wedding’s elegant vibe.  

Outside the pool house, guests enjoyed a photo booth, capturing fun and candid moments to take home as keepsakes. It was clear that every detail of the day had been thoughtfully planned to ensure a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.

Zoe and Anthony were Married November 4, 2022 at the incredible Skytop Lodge. Skytop Lodge is a beautiful hotel, lodge, golf club in the Pocono Mountains looking over a lake. The stone building almost looks like a stately castle or palace. Zoe and Anthony had a very classy and beautiful wedding. They lucked out with spectacular weather for November in the mountains. It was sunny and warm, but they were ready for much worse with blankets for the guests. The ceremony was held outside in the courtyard of the lodge with a large colonnaded walkway and staircase to walk through. The wedding ceremony was officiated by the groom’s sister, who was also a bridesmaid. She did a beautiful job and was able to make the ceremony very special for the couple. The couple took pictures out on the lawn of the lodge where I got some fun drone shots of the couple. Skycap lodge was a great location for aerial photography because the building provided a striking contrast with the lake, forest, and mountains. I was able to fly over some good distance to get a good video of the property. Shooting at sunset also got some beautiful views of the rolling mountains in the distance. The reception was held in the ballroom where the couple had all the guests come out onto the dance floor after the first dance. There was a lot of dancing for this wedding, the guests did not stay in their seat for long. It was a beautiful and fun wedding, despite the guests being very well dressed and the style/vibe being very classy in general. 

Skytop Lodge is a historic hotel and resort located in the Poconos region of Pennsylvania. The resort is set on 5,500 acres of picturesque woodland and features a variety of amenities and activities, including golf, tennis, swimming, hiking, and more. The lodge features a grand main building with guest rooms and suites, as well as a variety of other accommodations such as cottages and villas.

Jesse and Heidi had an incredibly unique wedding held on the banks of the Little Conestoga Creek at The Mill at Manor Falls. The main building is massive old mill that has been completely renovated, with large rooms upstairs for the groomsmen and bridal party to get ready in and relax, and a dining and dancing space on the lower level. It is a unique location with an old stone bridge and a large water fall that rushes over a dam. The ceremony was held on the ruins of a barn on a grass field. The whole property has a very old world feel, almost a fantasy setting. The weather was spectacular, especially for South East Pennsylvania at the end of October. It was a perfect fall day. Jesse and Heidi had a beautiful first look down by the creek, then took pictures with the bridal party. The ceremony included their dog Charlie, and the tradition of hand fasting, literally tying the knot. It was a unique ceremony featuring poetry and readings by a friend. The couple wrote their own vows. A cocktail hour was held on the patio of the mill building, and the reception started soon after inside. They had food served by Himalayan Curry and Grill and Callaloo Trinidadian Kitchen, two of the best restaurants in Lancaster. The couple had one of the best first dances I’ve seen, and their friends were a good match because they were able to do a very fun steal dance. In a fun twist, the couple each had paintings commissioned for each other as a gift and the surprise presentation was a lot of fun. The couple took some incredible romantic pictures by the waterfall at dusk. I was able to make good use of the drone to get a good look of the property. The gimbal was very useful for this wedding to follow the dancing, walking, and interesting photoshoots.

Rikki and Colton tied the knot October 1, 2022 in a stunning DIY ceremony and reception at a family friend’s farm in Birdsboro, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The bridal party prepped at the family home that Rikki grew up in. The groomsmen got ready on site at the farm. The weather turned out to be a typical South East Pennsylvania fall- day rainy and cloudy. The farm featured an old rustic barn that had been partially renovated by the groom and friends. It was an amazing DIY ceremony venue and it worked perfectly for the size of wedding. The traditional Pennsylvania bank barn had a lower level and an upper level. The upper level was a large space with high ceilings and bare wood walls and floors. Light streamed in through a few windows. Guests sat on wooden benches for ceremony. The lower level looked out on a grass field with hightop tables and housed a make shift bar and spread for the cocktail hour. The ceremony was officiated by a pastor who had known the couple for years. Their friend played music while they tied a literal knot representing the trinity. The couple took photos around the farm including near the large pond that is common on farms in this area of Pennsylvania. After the cocktail hour the guests moved over to the big tent reception, the bridal party was introduced and dinner was served. One incredible addition was a fireworks show at night over the pond. The couple also had a last dance together. Despite the poor weather I was able to squeeze in a few drone shots during a lull in the bad weather which was fun.
